He pensado en comenzar mi blog por muchísimo tiempo, tratando de encontrar un tema para empezar y pasando los últimos meses (más tiempo del que me gustaría admitir) dándole largas y posponiéndolo. Cada vez que pensaba en escribir me decía a mí mismo: “no tengo la idea perfecta para empezar” o “nah, este tema no es llamativo o pegajoso y no lo he podido preparar para que quede perfecto” así que nunca empecé a escribir realmente, solo tenía ideas dando vueltas en mi cabeza sin darles “vida” y ese fue mi primer error. Pero por fin me decidí en empezar a escribir dejando que mis pensamientos e ideas fluyan e improvisar mis primeras líneas. Yo me imaginaba al mejor estilo de Gabriel Garcia Marquez sentado en mi escritorio tratando de imaginarme como los grandes escritores se preparaban y pasaban su tiempo escribiendo, esperando por mi musa a que apareciera como por arte de magia, pero me di cuenta que lo único que necesitaba era un pequeño empujón (quizás no tan pequeño) para empezar de una vez y poner mis dudas y miedos a un lado y no prestarles atención, o al menos no más de lo que debería. Y todos estos pensamientos y decisiones pasaron en uno de los últimos lugares en que jamás me hubiese imaginado que mis ideas iban a cobrar vida, ¡en la ducha!
Mucho hemos leído o visto en la televisión y en las redes sociales acerca de la mejor manera de llegar a ser exitoso, emprendedor, tener una vida plena y los consejos y rutinas que las personas tienen y siguen cada día para lograrlo. Todos hemos sido víctimas (yo no solo una, sino muchas veces) o testigos del ejecutivo o emprendedor super exitoso que se levanta a las 5 de la mañana para empezar su día y organizar todas sus actividades, hace su rutina de ejercicios, prepara un desayuno super saludable y para las 7:30 a.m. ya tiene la mitad de sus objetivos logrados y está listo para superar cualquier obstáculo. Y en ese momento te prometes a ti mismo que vas a empezar esa misma rutina al día siguiente para comenzar a ser exitoso y no perder más tiempo. Pero la realidad te golpea justo cuando la alarma suena a las 5:00 a.m. y lo único que puedes hacer es posponer la alarma y volver a dormir porque no tienes las fuerzas ni el ánimo para empezar, y te mientes a ti mismo en que “hoy estoy cansado, pero mañana si comienzo”. Y la verdad es que no importa cuantas veces lo intentas, nunca sientes que es tan fácil como pensabas y parece imposible siquiera hacerlo por primera vez.
Con el tiempo, y a medida que más investigaba, leía y aprendía sobre este tema de cómo ser “exitoso”, me di cuenta que muchísimos de los bloggers, emprendedores y empresarios más famosos comenzaron desde cero y les llevo un tiempo y esfuerzo inmenso llegar a donde están ahora, pero uno solo ve el resultado de su esfuerzo y no el camino que les toco recorrer. Y eso fue precisamente lo que sembró la semilla en mi cabeza de comenzar un blog. La clave para ser exitoso es COMENZAR, dar ese primer paso que se ve inmenso e imposible, y no dejar que tus pensamientos y dudas se apoderen de ti. En la vida nunca te vas a sentir totalmente listo, que tienes la idea perfecta o que es el momento perfecto sencillamente porque no existe, lo único que necesitas es empujarte a ti mismo y empezar. El tren de la vida siempre está en movimiento y si vacilas para montarte esperando el momento “ideal” o te preguntas si es el tren correcto te vas a perder muchísimas oportunidades de vivir la vida que TÚ quieres.
Mi objetivo es compartir mis vivencias y aprendizajes para poder ayudar a personas como tú y como yo. No soy CEO, ni cofundador de una empresa, ni gerente, ni tengo ningún gran título profesional; soy una persona normal, tengo un trabajo de oficina de 8 a 5, pago cuentas y en ocasiones tengo que ajustar gastos para cubrirlas todas, no he logrado viajar por el mundo como me gustaría ni tengo lujos, pero me considero una persona afortunada y exitosa. No hay una regla para medir el éxito, tu éxito lo mides tú mismo.
Si en cada post te dejo algo que te inspire, te impulse o te ayude a mejorar, a tomar la decisión de empezar y perder ese miedo o inseguridad que no te deja avanzar para que puedas construir y vivir la vida que quieres, entonces este blog logró su objetivo. Aquí cuentas con alguien para escucharte y ayudarte, así que siéntate, relájate, coge tu taza y TE INVITO UN CAFÉ!
