¡La vida es un maratón, no una carrera de velocidad!

Hoy en día casi todo lo podemos tener de forma inmediata. Cualquier cosa que queremos está a nuestra disposición en cuestión de segundos sin necesidad de hacer mucho esfuerzo. Y aunque eso ha sido de ayuda para poder invertir nuestro tiempo de manera más eficiente, la verdad es que no has creado una falsa expectativa. Y lo peor de todo es que, tomando ventaja de esa ‘inmediatez’, hay un sinfín de mensajes que van y vienen en las redes sociales acerca de lograr tus sueños en pocos meses y desde la comodidad de tu sofá sin mucho esfuerzo. 

Nos venden la promesa de lograr el éxito a corto plazo con ideas de trabajar poco con una gran ganancia inmediata. Pero en la mayoría de los casos (si no en todos) es un engaño; es una manera de que tú hagas el trabajo para que otro se beneficie. Todos esos programas están basados en esquemas piramidales donde los únicos que realmente se benefician son los que están ‘arriba’ tomando provecho de las personas que reclutan, que son quienes realmente hacen el trabajo.

EL ÉXITO REQUIERE TIEMPO

El éxito no es algo que logras de la noche a la mañana. Más bien es un trabajo de hormiga, donde necesitas ir avanzado y revisando cada paso a medida que avanzas para entender cómo vas y que necesitas para seguir. Y ese camino hacia el éxito es un camino largo, lento y demandante. Vas a tener que armar tu plan, invertir tiempo en él y poner todo tu esfuerzo en cada uno de sus pasos. Incluso tendrás que buscar la forma de encontrar las fuerzas y ánimos cuando no tengas ganas de hacer lo que sabes que tienes que hacer.

Pero es la constancia lo que te va a llevar a alcanzar tus metas y cualquier cosa que te propongas. Es el poner de tu parte y avanzar a pesar de no querer moverte lo que te hará llegar a donde quieras.  No es sencillo, incluso habrá días en que terminarás por no hacerlo, pero si trabajas de manera consistente verás que los resultados que vayas consiguiendo valdrán el esfuerzo.

CONSTRUYE TUS SUEÑOS, UN PASO A LA VEZ

Y lo más importante, es que al éxito llegas paso a paso. No hay forma de apurarlo ni de saber cuánto falta para llegar, y tener tu meta siempre en mente a medida que avanzas es imprescindible. El destino a donde quieres llegar no lo ves al comienzo, y a veces incluso sentirás que vas como sin rumbo. Y es por eso que tu foco debe estar en el paso que estás dando, en el escalón en el que estás parado y no en los escalones que ya pasaste ni aquellos que no has hecho. Si, es importante entender que tienes que hacer para seguir avanzando hacia tu meta, pero no puedes quedarte únicamente en el dónde vas sin tomar acción en el ahora para seguir avanzando. La gente tiende a solo enfocarse en el dónde van descuidando lo que tienen que hacer para llegar ahí. Eso es lo que separa a los que sueñan con sus metas de los que trabajan por ellas y terminan alcanzándolas. 

Algo muy importante es el enfocarte en ti sin mirar a los lados. Cada persona necesita de herramientas diferentes, tiempos diferentes y aprendizajes distintos. Cada persona tiene una definición de éxito diferente y no a todo el mundo le lleva el mismo tiempo alcanzarlo. Enfócate en lo que TÚ necesitas para llegar a donde TÚ quieres llegar…. se trata de TUS sueños y no los de los demás.

No importa lo que otros tengas que decir -porque siempre te vas a encontrar con personas que van a querer tener voz y voto en lo que hagas-, si tú tienes claro lo que quieres y a dónde vas trabaja por eso, no dejes que nada ni nadie te detenga, y pon toda tu dedicación y esfuerzo en eso que quieres alcanzar. No se trata de ver dónde estás comparado con donde están otros, porque eso lo único que te va a traer son expectativas irreales y frustraciones innecesarias. Enfócate en donde estás hoy comparado con tu ayer, teniendo tu meta clara y la visión puesta en el lugar a donde vas.

El camino hacia tus sueños lo construyes poco a poco, día a día. Confía en cada paso que des y verás cómo ese camino va agarrando forma. Y toma acción; no esperes a tener el plan perfecto o todo resuelto porque en ese caso nunca vas a comenzar.

Además, ¿qué requiere más esfuerzo, construir una pared colocando un ladrillo diario y terminarla en 100 días o colocar 100 ladrillos en 1 día?
